Partnership Between ROH And NWA Ends

According to PWInsider.com, the partnership between Ring Of Honor (ROH) and The National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) has officially come to an end. The report states that both sides have come to an amicable split, but they have both left the door open if in case they decide to partner up again somewhere down the road.

The last time the two promotions worked together was at The Crockett Cup PPV Event this past April where Villain Enterprises (PCO & Brody King) won the entire tournament and was crowned The ROH World Tag Team Champions which they still are to this day. NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Nick Aldis was originally advertised to work The ROH Summer Supercard Event on August 9th in Toronto, but he will reportedly no longer be working the event.

NWA Vice President Dave Lagana, who has produced several promotional videos and video vignettes for Ring Of Honor over the past few months, recently also finished up with the said promotion. NWA President Billy Corgan is said to be looking to put together a weekly stand-alone NWA series later this year.
