News On Samoa Joe’s First Feud On Monday Night RAW

SmackDown LIVE last Tuesday night saw WWE Intercontinental Champion Finn Balor move to the blue brand, bringing his title along with him. Typically in scenarios like this, when one mid-card champion moves to a different brand, so does the other. In this case, it was supposed to be WWE United States Champion Samoa Joe moving to the red brand, but he was missing in action on both shows.

Joe was reportedly very sick and was pulled from RAW this past Monday night. As previously reported, Joe is still expected to move to RAW. WWE has yet to officially announce the switch, but Joe is the last of the bigger names that is expected to switch brands.

As seen on last week’s episode of SmackDown LIVE, WWE United States Champion Samoa Joe & Braun Strowman had a physical altercation. Dave Meltzer reported on a recent edition of The Wrestling Observer Radio Program that the plan is indeed for Joe & Strowman to feud for The WWE United States Title on RAW.
