Konnan recently discussed the similarities between Will Ospreay and Scott Hall, highlighting how Ospreay’s recent losses have not diminished his fan support. On the latest episode of Keepin’ It 100, Konnan explained that, much like Hall, Ospreay’s value to fans remains intact despite setbacks in the ring.
Konnan said (per Wrestling Inc).
“He’s kinda the type of guy that Scott Hall was – he can take losses and people still like him, you know what I’m saying? That fanbase, the hardcores, see him as a top guy.”
Ospreay suffered a loss to Fletcher at AEW Full Gear, just a month after dropping the AEW International Championship to Konosuke Takeshita in a three-way match at AEW WrestleDream.
