During a recent episode of the Keepin’ It 100 podcast, Konnan praised AEW wrestler Anna Jay for her impressive progress. Jay made her return to AEW in September after taking a break to wrestle in Japan.
Konnan commented on Jay’s growth, saying (via WrestlingInc.com),
“Anna Jay has come a long way, because if you remember, she used to be with the Dark Order – ‘Dork Order’ – and you would think ‘What’s she doing with these scrubs?’ Right?”
“She went to Japan, [she] got better, but there’s still a lot of holes in her game. I think she’s a future superstar.”
Recently, Jay scored a victory over Penelope Ford in a singles match on AEW Dynamite, and at AEW Full Gear, she also defeated Deonna Purrazzo during the Zero Hour pre-show.
