According to PWInsider.com, Monday Night RAW Superstar Drew McIntyre is currently out of in-ring action due to an injury. It was indicated in the report that McIntyre underwent a minor surgery to help fix that injury he suffered after he performed on a recent tour in Mexico.
The last time WWE was in Mexico was December of last year, but McIntyre was reportedly in Mexico just last month as he was in a promotional tour to promote a WWE Supershow set to take place in November.
It was also indicated in the report that McIntyre was said to have the surgery, so that he will be ready and good to go by later this fall and towards his build to next year’s WrestleMania 36. McIntyre is reportedly already ready to make his in-ring return, but he is just waiting to be cleared by The WWE and the doctors.
McIntyre’s last match before undergoing the minor surgery was on The August 26th episode of Monday Night RAW when he lost a King Of The Ring Tournament First Round Match to Ricochet. At one point, McIntyre was rumored to face Cedric Alexander at Clash Of Champions. More information and updates will be provided on McIntyre’s status and injury once it is made available.
