Backstage Note On Lars Sullivan’s WWE RAW Debut

Last Monday night’s post-WrestleMania 35 episode of RAW saw the main roster debut of Lars Sullivan.

A segment would take place on RAW that saw Lars Sullivan attack WWE Hall Of Famer Kurt Angle after Angle got payback on Baron Corbin, who defeated him in his Farewell Match at WrestleMania 35 this past Sunday. Lars would nail Angle with a freak accident and then hit him with a diving headbutt from the top to end the beat-down.

According to Dave Meltzer on a recent edition of The Wrestling Observer Radio Program, Lars Sullivan attacking Kurt Angle was what was supposed to take place this past January between Lars Sullivan & John Cena.

It has been reported how WWE had plans for Lars to debut on RAW back in January to set up a potential WrestleMania 35 feud between Sullivan & Cena. Lars reportedly had some personal issues that has kept him away from WWE, until now. There is no word yet on if The WWE still plans on pushing through with The Lars Sullivan vs. John Cena feud, but they could use Cena’s history with Kurt Angle to bring him into a feud with Lars if they decide to go through with it.
