Backstage News On WrestleMania 35 Plans For Elias

There has been some speculation that we could see Elias mix-up with another WWE Superstar this coming Sunday at WrestleMania 35.

According to Dave Meltzer on a recent edition of The Wrestling Observer Radio Program, there is a plan in place for someone to “shut Elias up” during his performance at this coming Sunday’s WrestleMania 35. There is no word yet on who that WWE Superstar may be, but everyone from John Cena to The Undertaker to Bray Wyatt are being rumored.

It was previously announced by The WWE that Elias will be the featured musical guest for this Sunday’s WrestleMania 35. He is not being advertised for The 6th Annual Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal. As previously reported, WWE polled fans on Elias performing songs at WrestleMania and asked which of these songs should he perform on the biggest show of the year – his own “Walk With Me” single, “New York, New York” by Frank Sinatra, “Shallow” by Lady Gaga & Bradley Cooper, or “Thunder Road” by Bruce Springsteen.
