The opening segment of last night’s episode of WWE SmackDown, which was The FOX premiere of the show as well as it’s 20th Anniversary Special, featured The Rock, King Corbin & RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch.
The segment began with RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch hyping and promoting the evening’s opening matchup, which saw her & Charlotte Flair defeat SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley & Sasha Banks in a Women’s Division Tag Team Match. King Corbin would then interrupt The RAW Women’s Champion, take some shots at her and talk about how everyone wanted to see him open the show instead of Becky Lynch.
Lynch then went on to warn King Corbin and that is when The Rock made his return and got a huge reaction from the crowd. The Rock then put Lynch over and went on to take some shots at King Corbin by calling him “a broke-looking Burger King on crack,” among other things.
The segment would then end with Becky Lynch & The Rock double-teaming The 2019 King Of The Ring when The Great One nailed King Corbin with a People’s Elbow & a Rock Bottom. You can check out The Rock’s return in the photos and the videos below:
