Backstage News on AJ Styles’ WWE Contract Expiring Soon

According to Dave Meltzer on a recent edition of The Wrestling Observer Radio Program, the strong expectation is that AJ Styles will be staying with The WWE when his contract expires this coming April.

Meltzer also mentioned that it is an incredibly opportunistic time for Styles to have his contract ending because he is good friends with people like All Elite Wrestling Executive Vice Presidents The Young Bucks. Despite that, it is being said that AJ Styles will still be staying with The WWE.

AJ Styles competed in a match against “The New” Daniel Bryan for The WWE Title at last night’s Royal Rumble PPV Event at Chase Field in Phoenix, Arizona and lost the match due to the involvement of Erick Rowan.
