Recent reports indicate that WWE has put plans for Alexa Bliss‘ TV return on hold indefinitely, according to PWInsider Elite (via WrestlingInc.com). WWE had been preparing for Bliss’ return with new storylines, merchandise, and promotional materials. She was initially scheduled to be part of a Wyatt Sicks storyline but that appears to have been scrapped.
The change in direction reportedly took place just before last week’s edition of Monday Night Raw in San Jose, California. During the show, it was noted that the Wyatt Sicks had been moved to SmackDown, although they have not yet made an appearance there. This shift in plans seems to have also impacted Bliss, though no official reason has been provided for the change.
WWE sources have clarified that Bliss is in good health and ready to return, dispelling speculation that health issues are to blame. However, rumors suggest the delay in her return may be due to a “contract issue,” though this has not been confirmed. Bliss’ current contract status remains unclear, as she has not appeared on WWE programming since the 2023 Royal Rumble.
Bliss took time off after the Rumble to focus on her pregnancy, which culminated in the birth of her daughter in November 2023. She then dealt with several health concerns, including skin cancer, preeclampsia, and post-partum complications. Bliss has since confirmed that her health is “all good now,” leading many to expect her return.
Earlier this month, she teased a comeback on social media, fueling speculation that her return to WWE could be imminent. However, with plans now reportedly on hold, her future in WWE remains uncertain for the time being.
