At WWE’s recent Live Event in Sydney, Australia, Xavier Woods Of The New Day reportedly suffered an unfortunate injury. Woods reportedly got injured during a Tag Team Match that saw him and Big E face The SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Revival (Scott Dawson & Dash Wilder).
At one point in the match, Xavier Woods just buckled then immediately clutched his leg. A fan attending the event noted that Xavier Woods was sent to the ropes, then immediately buckled and grabbed his knee or his leg. The referee then immediately threw up the dreaded “X” sign as trainers from the back made their way to the ring.
Xavier Woods was then checked on and seemed to be in excruciating pain as Big E & The Revival looked on with concern. Woods was then limping away and helped to the back as the match continued with Big E taking on The Revival in a Handicap Match and suffering a loss. Xavier Woods then took to Twitter and revealed that he suffered an Achilles tendon injury.
