It was previously reported that according to PWInsider.com and Casey Michael Of Squared Circle Sirens, WWE has signed Top Indie Star Timothy Thatcher. There is no word yet on when Thatcher will be making his NXT debut, but he has reportedly started his training with the company under his developmental deal this week at The WWE Performance Center in Orlando.
Thatcher has competed for several wrestling promotions such as EVOLVE Wrestling, MLW, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, wXw and Revolution Pro. His signing was described as “tremendous” for The WWE.
Casey Michael noted that Killer Kross has also signed with The WWE this week. Killer Kross signing with The WWE is described as a “long time coming.”
During this past Tuesday night’s episode of WWE Backstage, WWE confirmed that both Timothy Thatcher and Killer Kross have indeed signed with the company. No brand was yet announced for either Superstar, nor was the time length of their contracts. Shortly after it was announced on WWE Backstage, WWE confirmed that both Superstars are now at The WWE Performance Center.
