In a recent reply to a fan on Instagram, Samantha Irvin opened up about her decision to leave WWE, revealing that she didn’t particularly enjoy the role of ring announcer. After nearly four years in the position, Irvin felt it was time for a change. She shared that while she appreciated her time with WWE, announcing wasn’t her passion. Her departure, announced earlier this week, has sparked interest among fans regarding her future plans.

The fan blamed Ricochet for Irvin’s exit, and wrote:

I can’t prove it but I know Ricochet is behind this because he couldn’t stay in the big league.”

Samantha Irvin replied:

I’m serious! Announcing was only supposed to be my way in. I wanted to manage, maybe even become general manager one day. But WWE saw no other future for me besides announcer. I love watching the action but I don’t love being an announcer.

Another fan said:

ur untalented husband did this huh”

Irvin responded with:

my husband is a millionaire so yes, I don’t have to do a job I don’t like anymore.”
