Back in April, Ortiz underwent surgery to repair a torn pectoral muscle that he sustained during a match on the January 20th episode of AEW Collision. At the time of the injury, it was estimated that his recovery would take approximately four months. Now, several months later, Ortiz provided a brief update on his progress during an appearance on Isiah Kassidy’s vlog, offering fans a glimpse into his recovery and current health status.
Ortiz said,
I’m not quite back yet, but I’m right there. I’m stronger, faster, but less flexible.”
