It was discussed on a recent edition of The Wrestling Observer Radio Program that The Undertaker is currently not scheduled to be at next month’s WWE SummerSlam PPV Event in any capacity, whether it be in a match or just to make an appearance.
A Singles Match between The Undertaker & Drew McIntyre was previously advertised for a period of time in the local market, but as of this writing, that match is no longer in WWE’s plans. The Undertaker even had a short list of WWE Superstars he wanted to face next following the disappointing match he had with WWE Hall Of Famer Bill Goldberg at WWE Super ShowDown and Drew McIntyre was one of those names in the list.
This past Sunday night’s WWE Extreme Rules PPV Event saw The Undertaker & Roman Reigns team up and defeat the duo of Shane McMahon & Drew McIntyre in a No Holds Barred Match. The Undertaker’s performance in the match was said to be one of the best performances he has had in a long time.
The 2019 WWE SummerSlam PPV Event is set to take place on August 11th from The Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Below is the current card for next month’s WWE SummerSlam PPV Event:
WWE Universal Title Match
– Brock Lesnar (c) vs. Seth Rollins
