At first, it seemed that Cesaro may have suffered an injury during The Six-Man Tag Team Match he had with Bobby Lashley & WWE United States Champion Samoa Joe against the trio of Ricochet, Braun Strowman & The Miz last Monday night on RAW. The possible injury was said to have happened towards the end of the match when Cesaro went down after being hit with a suicide dive from Ricochet on the outside of the ring. Cesaro was then helped to the back after being checked on at ringside.
According to Dave Meltzer on a recent edition of The Wrestling Observer Radio Program, the word backstage at RAW is that Cesaro was not injured and he may have been hurt from that specific spot with Ricochet, but it does not appear to be anything serious. Meltzer also noted that minor injuries such as this can happen from time to time based on exhaustion, especially coming from a gruelling schedule that Superstars go through just like they did in the weeks leading to Super ShowDown.
