According to PWInsider.com, Johnny Impact’s match this past Sunday night at IMPACT Wrestling’s Slammiversary XVII PPV Event in which he lost to IMPACT Wrestling X-Division Champion Rich Swann was his last match for the promotion and the end of his current run with the company.
Johnny Impact’s IMPACT Wrestling Contract reportedly expired several weeks back but he and the company had some sort of agreement that saw him work until Slammiversary to finish up his current storyline which was with IMPACT Wrestling X-Division Champion Rich Swann.
Despite Johnny Impact being a free agent and being able to sign with any other wrestling promotion, he is reportedly still in contact and in talks with IMPACT Wrestling about possibly re-signing with the company and continuing their working relationship.
In 2017, Johnny Impact signed with IMPACT Wrestling and was with the company until this past Sunday night’s IMPACT Wrestling Slammiversary XVII PPV Event, but his contract with the company reportedly expired two weeks prior to the show. There is no word yet on if WWE or AEW would be interested in signing Johnny Impact to a contract, but more information will be provided once it is made available.
