John Cena Teases Big WrestleMania 35 Match

16-time World Champion John Cena recently took to Instagram and posted a rare throwback photo of WWE Hall Of Famer Kurt Angle, fuelling speculation that there could be a possible John Cena vs. Kurt Angle Match at WrestleMania 35.

Cena has reportedly used his Instagram Account to tease his past feuds. Cena has previously posted several photos of WWE Legend The Undertaker, also with no captions, which was a lead up to their match at WrestleMania 34. Cena would be a perfect fit for Angle’s last opponent because of the history that they have. For those who don’t know, John Cena debuted on a June 27th, 2002 episode of WWE SmackDown by answering an open challenge from Kurt Angle. Cena would lose that match but it began his historic WWE run.

As previously reported, Kurt Angle announced on last Monday night’s RAW that he will have his Farewell Match at next month’s WrestleMania 35. For those who missed it, Angle mentioned on a post-RAW interview that possible names that are being discussed for his last match includes John Cena, AJ Styles, WWE United States Champion Samoa Joe, Drew McIntyre, Baron Corbin & WWE Intercontinental Champion Bobby Lashley.

There has been some speculation on a John Cena vs. Samoa Joe Match for The WWE United States Title at WrestleMania 35 but Dave Meltzer noted on a recent edition of The Wrestling Observer Radio Program that The Cena vs. Joe Match was not in the plans that WWE has for WrestleMania 35, at least as of a week ago.
