On the latest episode of the Grilling JR podcast, Jim Ross and co-host Conrad Thompson discussed the drama surrounding WWE Hall of Famer Tammy Sytch (aka Sunny) and her departure from WWF in the late 1990s.
Towards the end of the episode, Ross claimed that after the death of his wife, Jan, in 2017, Sunny made an inappropriate proposal to him.
Jim Ross said:
“She brought a lot of this shit on herself. I remember her offering, she wanted to move in with me in Oklahoma at one time.”
“Yeah. I’m a good girlfriend. I can cook. I’ll take care of you in the bedroom. Blah blah blah. And we can have a great time. And I thought about it for like 10 seconds. No way in hell. I mean, I might be naive, and lonely, and heartbroken, but god damn it. I’ve already been down that road. I already saw what she was all about. I wasn’t gonna bring myself into the dramatic aspect in my life, and I’m sure as fuck glad I didn’t do it. A piece of ass is a piece of ass. What the hell, ain’t worth the trouble…I dodged a bullet there, I promise you.”
Ross emphasized that the offer came as a complete surprise, noting there had been no prior sexual relationship between him and Sunny.
Sunny is currently serving a 17-year prison sentence for her involvement in the death of 75-year-old Julian Lasseter.
