It was recently announced that The First-Ever WWE Stomping Grounds PPV Event will be taking place this coming June. WWE recently filed to trademark The Stomping Grounds name and it has now been announced to take place on June 23rd from The Tacoma Dome in Tacoma, Washington.

WWE Backlash was originally scheduled to take place on June 16th from The Pechanga Arena in San Diego, California, but WWE Stomping Grounds has now been named as the replacement for WWE Backlash. The San Diego Event which was originally supposed to be WWE Backlash will now be a non-televised live event.

Tickets for WWE Stomping Ground is set to go on sale this coming Friday, May 3rd at 10AM local time, while the pre-sale is set to begin tomorrow, May 1st also at 10AM local time. Ticket prices are set to start at $25 and will be available through Ticketmaster.

The Tacoma Dome is advertising a blockbuster Singles Matchup between Roman Reigns & Randy Orton for The WWE Stomping Grounds PPV Event, but that could change as we get closer to the show itself. WWE Universal Champion Seth Rollins, WWE Champion Kofi Kingston, AJ Styles, Braun Strowman, Charlotte Flair and RAW & SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch are also advertised to appear.
