Big Heel Turn At NXT TakeOver: WarGames, Who Won The First-Ever Women’s WarGames

Last night’s WWE NXT TakeOver: WarGames Event saw Team Ripley (Team Captain Rhea Ripley & Candice LeRae) win The First-Ever Women’s WarGames Match against Team Baszler (Team Captain NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler, Bianca Belair, Io Shirai & NXT UK Women’s Champion Kay Lee Ray). Earlier in the day, Mia Yim was removed from the match and replaced by Dakota Kai following an injury angle.

Team Ripley only had two members participate in the match as Dakota Kai & Tegan Nox never entered the match due to Dakota Kai turning heel on Tegan Nox and destroying her while the two were left together in a mini-cage on the stage. Dakota Kai laying out Tegan Nox would then lead to NXT General Manager William Regal ejecting her from the match while Tegan Nox was removed from the match due to an injury. The match would see Ripley secure a pinfall victory over The NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler.

You can check out The First-Ever Women’s WarGames Match in the photos and the videos below:
