We haven’t seen Sasha Banks in WWE since she & Bayley lost The WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles to The IIconics (Billie Kay & Peyton Royce) at WrestleMania 35 and there have since been reports of her wanting to quit the company.
According to Dave Meltzer on a recent edition of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Sasha Banks & WWE Chairman Vince McMahon had a meeting this past May 23rd. The meeting reportedly went smoothly and things between the two sides have gotten better. Despite it not being official, we could see Sasha Banks back in the company sometime in the summer.
A couple of months ago, it was reported that Sasha Banks was frustrated with WWE’s decision to have her & Bayley drop The WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles to The IIconics (Billie Kay & Peyton Royce) at WrestleMania 35 in a match that also included The Samoan Slaughterhouse (Nia Jax & Tamina Snuka) and The Divas Of Doom (Natalya & WWE Hall Of Famer Beth Phoenix).
Banks thought all along that she & Bayley would be The WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions for a long time and defend it on multiple shows including Monday Night RAW, SmackDown LIVE & NXT until they defined the titles and until the titles meant something. Sasha Banks recently took to Twitter and got the entire Pro Wrestling community talking by posting a cryptic tweet that included the lyrics from Rapper Kendrick Lamar’s Dumb It Down single, as seen below:
I will conquer my biggest dreams
