It was previously reported that last night’s WWE Stomping Grounds PPV Event saw Ricochet become The New WWE United States Champion by defeating Samoa Joe. It seems that Ricochet already has his first major feud on the horizon as last night’s WWE Stomping Grounds PPV Event also saw a backstage segment featuring Ricochet’s WWE United States Championship Photo Shoot be interrupted by Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows.
Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows would antagonize Ricochet a bit until AJ Styles would appear. AJ Styles would then congratulate Ricochet on his WWE United States Title victory and then he would say that he would see him on RAW, possibly for a WWE United States Title Match.
It looks like AJ Styles is now cleared to return to in-ring action as WWE just recently announced that he will be facing The New WWE United States Champion Ricochet tonight on RAW, but The WWE United States Title will not be hanging in the balance. Below is a clip of the backstage segment that took place last night at WWE Stomping Grounds along with the announcement recently made by WWE on The Non-Title Match between WWE United States Champion Ricochet & AJ Styles for tonight’s RAW:

United States Champion Ricochet To Battle AJ Styles Tonight
Ricochet took full advantage of his first singles title opportunity by overcoming Samoa Joe to capture the esteemed United States Championship. Now that he’s titleholder, however, it is clear that he will have no shortage of challengers.
Case in point, moments after AJ Styles, Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson invited themselves into the new titleholder’s photoshoot, The Phenomenal One said he would see Ricochet on RAW.
WWE.com has since learned that the two Superstars will, in fact, square off in a non-title match. Will Ricochet rise above? Will Styles end the celebration and set himself up with a future title opportunity? Will the defeated Samoa Joe play a role in the contest? Find out tonight on Monday Night RAW!
