WWE 24/7 Title Changes Hands During Last Night’s Episode Of SmackDown LIVE

Last night’s episode of SmackDown LIVE from The Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario, California saw 205 Live General Manager Drake Maverick finally capture The WWE 24/7 Title from R-Truth.

R-Truth was outside of the arena as he was trying to find Carmella so that they can leave before a title change took place. Drake Maverick was anticipating and waiting for R-Truth the entire time and he even dressed himself as Carmella. Drake Maverick also appeared with a referee, who R-Truth thought was his Uber driver. This would then lead to Drake Maverick pinning R-Truth to win The WWE 24/7 Title then driving off in an SUV that belonged to the referee. After the title win, Drake Maverick would then shout out that he is going to get married.

This is Drake Maverick’s first time wining The WWE 24/7 Title. R-Truth’s last reign as The WWE 24/7 Champion began on June 6th when he pinned Jinder Mahal during a flight to Saudi Arabia for WWE Super ShowDown.
