IMPACT World Title Match Announced For Rebellion PPV

On last week’s episode of IMPACT Wrestling, IMPACT Wrestling World Champion Johnny Impact would betray his former friend “The Machine” Brian Cage as he turned heel against him by attacking him from behind before their scheduled rematch for The IMPACT Wrestling World Title.

The segment would see Killer Kross carry out a “knocked out” Johnny Impact to the ring and threaten to hit him with a chair and cinder block. IMPACT Knockouts Champion Taya Valkyrie would then bring Cage out to help her. Taya would then run to the ring to help her husband out, but Kross would threaten to hit her with the chair. Cage would finally come down to the ring, but he was taken out by both Valkyrie & Impact.

The two would initially meet back in January at The IMPACT Wrestling Homecoming Event with Johnny Impact retaining his title. Since last week’s scheduled match never took place, it was then announced that the two will meet once again at IMPACT Wrestling’s Rebellion PPV on April 28th from The Rebel Entertainment Complex in Toronto.
