Sasha Banks is Reportedly Not Cleared For In-Ring Competition

Sasha Banks reportedly missed this past weekend’s WWE Live Events because she was not cleared for in-ring competition after her match against Ronda Rousey at WWE Royal Rumble.

On a recent edition of The Wrestling Observer Radio Program, Dave Meltzer explained that Sasha Banks is still not cleared for in-ring competition and she was not cleared prior to her Tag Team Match on this past Monday’s RAW. This likely explains why Nikki Cross & Alicia Fox attacked Sasha Banks & Bayley prior to the match, forcing Bayley to work the entire match alone while Sasha Banks was hurt in the corner. Meltzer notes that the decision to even allow Sasha Banks near ringside is rare and was likely done so that they could progress the storyline and advertise all six teams for The Women’s Tag Team Elimination Chamber Match.

The extent of Banks’ injury is unknown at the moment but WWE is reportedly confident that Banks will be ready to compete at The WWE Elimination Chamber PPV Event on February 17th.

Elimination Chamber takes place on February 17th from The Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. Below is the updated card for The WWE Elimination Chamber PPV Event:
