Chelsea Green has her sights set on a Canadian showdown for her WWE United States Women’s Championship. In a recent interview with Sans Restriction before the Royal Rumble, Green expressed a desire to defend her title against fellow Canadian wrestlers Trish Stratus or Natalya. “I love me some Trish Stratus,” Green said (via Fightful), “but what about Nattie? What about Chelsea Green vs. Natalya Neidhart for the United States, that’s so ironic, for the United States Championship in Canada.”
Green competed in the Women’s Royal Rumble match and also faced Michin on SmackDown. While Michin won their SmackDown match by disqualification, Green retained her championship.
