Vince McMahon is currently working on launching a new company after stepping down from all his roles at TKO in light of the Janel Grant lawsuit.
According to PWInsider, this upcoming venture is being called an “entertainment hub company” that will focus on financing, developing, and producing film and television projects. The company is expected to be based in the Los Angeles area.
Several former WWE stars are joining McMahon in this endeavor, with plans to officially announce the project once his legal issues are resolved. Notably, Kevin Dunn will not be part of this new venture. However, Kristen Prouty and Brad Blum, who previously held positions at WWE, are involved. Blum served as WWE’s Chief Operating Officer before leaving after McMahon’s first retirement and then returning, only to depart again earlier this year. Prouty, who joined WWE in 2005 as the original casting director for the first Diva Search, has also been a key connection between WWE and Hollywood but was let go earlier this year.
In contrast to WWE’s wrestling focus, this new company will aim to create a diverse range of fiction and non-fiction productions.
