Taz is firmly in the camp that considers Paul Heyman the top microphone worker in wrestling. Widely regarded as one of the greatest promo men in the history of the business, Heyman’s skills behind the mic earned further praise from Taz in a recent interview with The Infamous Smoke Show. Taz said (per Fightful):
“He’s the best in the business. He’s been arguably the best talker in the business for 25, 30 years. Even was 20 years old working in Memphis. Him and [Jim Cornette] were the greatest talkers of all time, but that’s what they got paid for, to be great talkers. Paul, in my opinion, he’s the best talker in the game, no doubt.”
Heyman made his long-awaited return to WWE television on last week’s SmackDown, where he shocked fans by introducing CM Punk as the fifth member of the OG Bloodline team for Survivor Series: WarGames.
