As previously reported, last night’s episode of SmackDown LIVE from The Dunkin’ Donuts Center in Providence, Rhode Island saw Dolph Ziggler make his return to WWE TV after being on a hiatus since January. Ziggler came out to ringside after Kingston’s Non-Title Match victory over Sami Zayn and took him out.
Ziggler later appeared before the crowd and said that the reason he attacked Kofi is because he should have been the one getting Kofi’s push over the past few months, including the win at WrestleMania 35. Due to Ziggler’s attack on Kofi, WWE Champion Kofi Kingston will now be defending his WWE Title against Dolph Ziggler at the upcoming WWE Super ShowDown Event in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
